Dr. Banasik is a licensed nursing home administrator, a registered professional engineer, and a licensed airline transport pilot. He is First Squire Chair of Entrepreneurship, Professor Emeritus at Capital University after thirty one years of service, and Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University.
Additionally, Dr. Banasik is the President of Omnilife Health Care Systems, Inc. which operates four nursing and assisted living facilities in Ohio. The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing is the local facility. The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing had deficiency free surveys in 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2010. It was cited by Consumers Reports among the top 3% of Nursing homes in the United States. The Facility in Medina has also received several deficiency free surveys and has been identified as the Best Nursing Home in Medina for the last three years. The Sanctuary at Wilmington Place which is now three years old, received a deficiency free survey in 2009. Additionally, he and his company serve as receivers for distressed health care facilities. Dr Banasik has celebrated 31 years in the Nursing Home profession. He is also the president of Equity Management Inc. which is a property management company. He is currently serving on several boards of directors. He has published over one hundred articles.
